ECIO 2007 will take place in building 116 at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), located in the northern part of the Greater Copenhagen area.
DTU is the Danish center of gravity for research, education and innovation within key strategic areas, such as: Information and Communication Technology, Nanotechnology, Food Science and Medical Technology, Biotechnology and Energy & Environmental Technology.
With 6000 students and 1500 researchers, the university is the largest technical university in Denmark. Based on 15 individual departments as well as a number of research centers, DTU houses a coherent innovation system that stretches from research and teaching to patents and licensing, industrial collaboration and science park activities.
